Everyone is either stoner, a little kid, or don't know how to breathe properly. I usually don't talk online because of this. Also because my cat broke my microphone.

Can't remember the last time I used a mic when playing with strangers. Just make a party with friends when we're playing. I can remember the days before party chat while playing Halo 2 online.

Normally in party chat. In Halo, I used to always get in fights, though. I normally only use Battlefield's chatbox to make smartass quips at the kids who are screaming "my team sucks" from the bottom of the leaderboard.

About 90% of the time yes.

But theres always that day when you don't feel like talking, especially online.

I pretty much end up muting everyone, especially if I have to hear a squeakers voice coming out of the speakers.

That or I play Halo 2 to avoid voice chat all together.

With friends yeah. When strangers maybe just depends how they act. Usually no. Most of them are either douchebags or straight out drunk. Its hard to find someone to have a semi decent conversation with during gameplay. Most of these motherfrackers make me cringe.

It's quite a shame, I've actually become friends with people through randomly speaking to them. This was prior to xbl party chat. It was cool.

I'll usually call out enemy player positions, but not chat it up with teammates about life. But even then, I feel like I'm talking to a wall because of the type of teammates I get paired up with.
