Do you need an Xbone to preorder MCC

Apparently if you preorder MCC you get $15 back in Xbox rewards, which I could use to buy some cheap ass games on the 360. However, I don't own an Xbone yet. If I purchase it off the Microsoft store, will it just stay in my purchase history for me to download when I get an Xbone or will it be like "LOL NOPE,UR ACCOUNT NOT REGISTERED WITH XBONER. GET ONE FIGOT!"?

I preordered it this morning and it's currently downloading on my Xbox One. 5% there.

And the stores are connected so I think you should be able to purchase it and then download it to your Xbox One when you get it.

I'm pretty sure everything is linked to your Live account with the magic of the cloud. So once you download your profile on your console once you get, it should already be in the download queue. I could be wrong about this...

If anyone here was actually smart, they would stick with what they have.

I'm voting with my wallet here. I'm not buying the Master Chief Collection and I'm not even getting Halo 5 let alone the Xbox One.

Seems like no one here cares. Seriously if anyone here actually used their head meat, they'd get the PC version of Halo 2 and I would have people to play with instead of the randoms that are left on the server.

I'm all for PC gaming but the Windows port of Halo 2 sucks balls. Play something good like TF2, CounterStrike, L4D2, Skyrim, etc.

Most mods are shit quality, abused for cheating, complicated to install, etc.

I would like to see someone use Halo 2 as a foundation and make something half as good as the Anniversary Multiplayerin the MCC with 1080p 60fps ion dedicated servers.

You obviously don't know what mods are nor have you ever had any experience using them have you?
