My friends and I were talking about upcoming games and we started to talk about the Skyrim remaster. We played the game for old time's sake on the 360(console pleb) and I don't remember the game looking like doo doo. I mean eh, the game looked like this

Okay I kid, but still, it looked pretty bad. It was a game that I thought looked pretty good graphics wise for its time but man, it aged badly. There are times when it looked okay, but for the most part it was ugly.

It looks fine. Graphics don't matter anyway.

Bethesda games always look like shit. Gameplay-wise they are good, but they are never a looker.

I still think it looks fine, especially for the limitation of 7th gen consoles.

I wish Bethesda did a real remaster instead of dumping in a filter and god rays cause it still looks worse than the original PC release.

The first thing I did when I got FO3 was turn off that obnoxious green filter.

It's better with it, though.

I like my water to be clean, clear, and free of pollution, but if you like yours with pond scum and trash in it then that's cool too.

Yes, Bethesda games are always behind because they're using an engine from 1997. I swear if the next ES is just an upgraded Fallout 4 engine...

There are PS3 games that look better than Fallout 4.

100s of nukes hitting one target probably is worse than nuclear meltdown. And Chernobyl is still bad off. Turned the trees red and damaged the animals. But yeah, not like Fallout.

this is the chernobyl exclusion zone

in fallout, as far as i'm aware, the entire country was ravaged by nukes

whether that would have any effect on the color of the atmosphere, i dunno, but i personally think the green tint adds a little gravitas to the idea that america was absolutely FUCKED by china
