I neither fear, nor despise.
So like........should I blow my copy up, or burn it?
Sell it. I sold my copy less than a week after the game came out. Reached level 20 and realized there was nothing left but an endless grind with no story and nothing but bullet sponge bosses. No regrets.
Once you reached up to level 20 that was when you realized the game is nothing more than grinding? Nowhere before that that thought didn't come into play?
Not really. The first 20 levels went nicely with the "story" and natural progression. New missions to do, places to go and so forth. It didn't feel like a grind at that point. It's only when I realized that the only way to progress after that was to put more time into the awful crucible, or replay the same old missions in the hopes of getting random drops of better armor that would allow me to go past 20.

Also, nothing in my posts shows that I didn't already realize this earlier. It is just that before level 20, there was still new and somewhat interesting stuff to do. It's only when I hit that level that it became obvious that unless I would buy the DLC, all that was left was playing the same missions over and over with increasingly spongy enemies for no purpose other than to get random drops.

The "Endgame" is basically going back to all the places you've already been before, and killing everything again and again. Absolutely boring
