Was gonna join one for the clan loot and to find some peeps to play with, but I'd prefer to at least join one with people I'm familiar with.PS4 or Xbox? There's already a few Xbox players here. Pretty sure prehistoric has a clan on PS4.I'm in a PS4 clan with some random peeps who are p chill.

I'm hearing that the new raids sucks ass. Is it true?
Is this game worth it? There's a chance I'll pick it up on PC but I may wait until the price goes down first.
This game does one thing spectacularly, and that is alienating solo players even more than the first-playing PvP is a team shooting shit fest-still no access to nightfalls, trials, raid, can't replay story missions without a fireteam (fixed)-guided games is absolutely useless, unless you don't mind being queued for an hour-clan benefits are overwhelming, essentially giving free high level gear-many heroic public events are (almost) impossible to complete or even trigger aloneIf you're a solo player you can enjoy playing low level strikes endlessly. Fun.

Fun.D1 endgame was never geared towards solo play, though. It's no surprise that this isn't either. As much as I'd love the ability to play the entire game solo and offline, that's just not what Destiny is about.
The mission where you go to kill Thumos really reminds me of Truth and Reconciliation, I mean look at the hanger bay

And some of the deeper areas of Titan infested by the Hive reminded me of a flood infected High Charity, mainly when you're stealing that data core thing
My internet's so bad I gotta raid at a friends house, but I quite enjoyed the leviathan raid
Quote from: A Cheese Potato on September 23, 2017, 12:17:04 PMMy internet's so bad I gotta raid at a friends house, but I quite enjoyed the leviathan raidMy main issue with it is how long it takes, the fact that you have to repeat everything several times. I don't mind doing the Gauntlet three times over but the doggo room is tedious (I actually found it fun before I realised how much the task needed repeating) and doing the whole flag-door unlocking thing every time you need to access a new room just artificially extends the raid when it's such an easy part of it. If these things were shorter the raid would be much better.

I think the strikes in this game aren't as good as the ones in the first game. Having to complete all a planet's missions to build up unlocking a strike felt a lot cooler than "oh here's some strikes go do them or something idk".
Thaviks is easily the worst boss fight in the entire series so far.
