Huh, that sounds a lot like the theory that's been going around about how the Traveler is actually evil and the guardians are its unknowing undead army doing it's bidding by committing genocide against alien races.

I've been reading a lot about what has been happening and what has happened and now I don't ever want to buy another Bungie game. Destiny was gimped of everything.

I honestly didn't like the original plot. Not that what we got is any better.
It just seems to be overdone.

Way too overdone. The idea of humanity being in it's last stand, with it's only ally hanging silently over their last city........sounds much better. Unfortunately the game doesn't give you anything more than that :/

Doesn't surprise me, the game was sold on a pack of lies, the game we got at launch was just a portion of what we should have got. All we got was the beta with a few new levels.

There's also a grimoire card that hints at the Traveler being hunted by the various aliens because it collapsed their societies in the past, they guy on reddit said in the original story the traveler would be reveled to be evil and that the cards on bnet were written by a guy that they brought in and gave him the scrapped material to work with

So who knows...
