sooooooo did anyone end up playing this? the resident kojima fanboy is out of the building, so it hasn't really been posted about

i beat it two months ago and thought about posting a review, but i decided it wasn't worth it

anyway, i absolutely loved it—8/10—but i feel like most of you wouldn't like it

Kojima convinced me with marketing to pay €60 to be an amazon delivery man

Not faulting whoever likes it but it ain’t for me

yeah, you do kind of have to be in a specific frame of mind to enjoy it—it's very difficult to describe the appeal when it's much easier to put the game down on the basis of what you do in it—but for me at least, it's always been more about the experience

like, i pay nintendo $60 on a regular basis so i can be a fat italian plumber, but of course, there's more to it than that

but if the core gameplay experience isn't doing anything for you, that's fair—i found it interesting and uniquely relaxing

I thought that throwing your piss and shit at people was a very revolutionary move in the gaming industry.

i thought that was a little gratuitous, but i imagine you were able to relate to it more

How about that Monster energy advertising?

Haven't actually played it unfortunately, but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it. Based off what I've seen, it's a cool attempt at an artistic endeavor for a video game but it's also bogged down a bit by its more sluggish and unrefined elements.
