DS1, in my opinion, is the one that really does it for jumpscares or just being scared in general.

For some reason, DS2 did not reach the scary potential that I know it could have been; and DS3 was questionable with part of the plot having to do with Issac being in a confusing love triangle and more than 15% of the game deals with Human vs. Human combat.

I'm really eager for Dead Space 2 and 3 to become backwards compatible. I forgot how much I love this franchise.

It was also my first horror game. I remember when I finished it, I realized it was the most intense time of my life at that point. Didn't touch the game until a month afterwards.

Looks like all of it is actually, unless there's a story DLC I wasn't aware of. You just have to manually go and reinstall them via the Xbox One store. Just search 'Dead Space' and the game and its DLC will pop up.
