Ouch man. That's gonna set you back a bit. You really gotta prioritize what you upgrade and how quickly you upgrade it on the harder difficulties. I thought of something interesting though.

How cool would an open world hub based Dead Space game be?

No shit though. I think out of all the games I've ever played, Dead Space 1 and 2 on their highest settings were both the most hair pulling, tense, but most relieving games I've ever played.

You do have to give its devs credit. They did fantastic work on the game mechanics and difficulty.

Dead Space and DS2 weren't particularly scarier than the third game. They were never really that scary to begin with.

Jump scares are predictable after the first two or three, and there's a difference between surprise and fear (and this is something most modern 'horror' games need to figure out).

Especially since you're armed to the teeth and can mow through anything that pops out at you.

The third game actually had the only moment I felt anything like fear in the series, when a certain trick no longer worked on a certain enemy that it used to kill stone dead. The first two games didn't have anything like that.
