Picked it up yesterday. I held off for a while but thought fuck it, I'm a Dragon Ball nut so why not.

Lvl 29, currently stuck trying to beat Cell in the story. Managed to unlock Super Saiyan though, wooooo!

So yeah, I'm in. What do you think of this game?

it's great fun.
I went in expecting to be disappointed but oh boy I was wrong. I dunno what it is but it's just fun to play and the story while pretty mediocre it's somewhat enjoyable. Plus I got to make my own super sayian which looks a lot like mystic gohan but who cares cuz

Just cleared the Cell saga, really wasn't expecting the Hercule fight lol

ive got 4 or 5 level 80s, havent played since before they raised the level cap. once im done with school ill probably get the season pass and get back on the grind. fun game, i just got burned out after playing like 130 hours in two weeks.

The only people that I know who say good things about it are obsessed with dbz, and the people that hate it don't really have a solid opinion on dbz.

yeah its a FANTASTIC game for pre-existing fans of dragon ball. if you're a fighting game enthusiast you're gonna leave disappointed, because it's like a MORPG built on fundamental fighting game elements, so a lot of nuance is lost and it becomes about min/maxing and having super optimized builds.

its also quite grindy, you have to do parallel quests over and over to get entire gearsets/abilities you need, and if you want to use dragonballs (which grant special stuff) you have to grind PQs as well.

The game feels schizophrenic, like it can't quite decide if it's a fighting game or an RPG. It was fun until I realized that it was mostly a game of numbers instead of a game of skill.

Alright I've run into something I need to fix

I uploaded my save to the cloud cause I went home for the weekend and I beat the Buu and Beerus sagas on his PS4 with the save file I downloaded

Then when I came back and downloaded that file to my PS4 I don't have the trophies for beating them. How fix?
