Daily reminder that invaders deserve every single gank they get.
Don't kid yourself, you used that Red-Eye orb with the clear intent on bullying someone and ruining the game for them. You knew the risks of it too that you'd run into a Co-Op Group tying to clear an area or even an intentional gank squad. You deserve it just for trying.
Have your buddies summon you for a Fight Club. Oh wait you cant because you have no freinds, that's why the only enjoyment you can find is by beating up on people with a massive disadvantage.
And don't try to defend invasions with le ebbin "invasions are just part of making le game hard and fun™" meme when you're making threads 24/7 on reddit about how hard it is for invaders, especially since you assholes can chug estus for weeks now. Doesn't feel good to taste your own medicine does it, greifing shitbag?

I dislike being invaded too, but it's because of the fact that my latency and the games inability to match me with people in my region despite having a region lock makes it impossible for me to defend myself. So I just hide and wait for them to get bored. It at least contents me that I'm saving others from them temporarily while they fuck about in my lagtropolis.

If you play solo but still want to go embered then disable online in the menu.
If you want to coop, find a red sign and duel. If you lose or not doesn't matter. After that use ember and summon your buddies. You won't get invaded because of the protection against invasions you got from the duel - unless you use the dried finger (but really it's your own fault if you use it for anything besides voluntary invasions or a quick extra summon for a boss).
Or go covenant of the blue; the sentinels really appreciate every chance they can get.

It's not that difficult to play without being disturbed.

In NG+, invasions are the only significant challenges besides s few of the bosses. It's your responsibility as a fan to make sure other players are having as much fun as possible, so invade and murder hosts as often as you can.

Just played my first hour of Dark Souls ever. Died to the first boss because SOMEONE didn't explain how to do a plunge attack, so I just stood over Bowser-on-steroids until he did his flying tushy-smash attack which made me fall. Completely lost on how the controls worked, I was trying to swing my mace with A rather than RB, and could not get the timing down for rolling. I did much better on the second go. This probably had to do with achieving the proper plunge attack.

I tend to wander around and look at stuff, not realizing the undead skeleton creatures climbing over the wall, or the ledge that awaits nothing for me but death.

I do not know if I have enough patience to really give Dark Souls a good go, but we will see.

It says 'RB to plunge', but I wasn't sure if I could just walk off or if I had to run. So I asked, and was told to "just go" after he took his time actually coming to an answer, which resulted in the above scenario.

PvP is complete trash and it's forced.

I almost exclusively play these games offline because of it. Never played Bloodborne online, ever.
