It's full of prototype weapons that performs exactly like modern assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, shotguns, and snipers

It still maintains the core gameplay, but it took away a lot of the things that made people annoyed with the modern things, such as heat seeking missiles and auto lock on. It made things more analog (if that's the right word) to where you actually had to aim your shots and be accurate, like the older shooters used to have, rather than just point and shoot. It also made it so machine guns didn't just dominate and bolt action/semi-auto are actually just as viable as other weapons.

Yeah, I get what you mean. CoD from 4/WaW to what we have now, while still sticking to the core, has increased in speed even further. It used to feel like a war skirmish and now it feels like paintball shooting. Idk why. Probably a variety of reasons from gun sounds, to things like killstreaks.

Ever since Activision said that "CoD games will take 3 years to develop" because of 3 developers, each game has gotten shipped with less content and features each time. You would think that with the so-called 3 years of development, the games would be more polished and have abundant features and overall quality for the player at launch

For example, Black Ops 2 was the last CoD game to have multiple factions in multiplayer. Each game since Ghosts has only had 2.

Ghosts was the last CoD game where you can see the actual population of people playing the game. Each game after had a line above a playlist saying something like this:"90% of people playing this playlist" and recently in Infinite Warfare, it doesn't tell you anything at all when searching for a match.

In Black Ops 3 you couldn't see other player's combat records at launch when in previous CoDs, that option was there day 1. It took them about 3 months after release to finally add a patch for it.

Every CoD game up until Infinite Warfare had leaderboards available at launch. I still think the leaderboards don't work in Infinite Warfare either.

And lastly, during Ghost's development, they said that CoD would run on dedicated servers from now on. It's been 4 years and CoD still runs on P2P connection on all platforms. All those millions earned from supply drops and game sales, and not a dime put into development for dedicated servers.

Wow I didn't know it only had 2 factions from then on, along with all that.

Damn, CoD is shitty now.

Yeah I miss when there were more than two factions depending on what map you played on. Or which event in the game's history you play in the campaign.

I've splereged out there - BF1 did feature other fronts. I'm thinking of some other WW2 game. Can't remember the name.
