I presumed you meant non-death as in a poor excuse of a death, as that is a way in which the phrase is used.

Halo has always been a two-character affair, usually MC+Cortana, 2 was MC+Arbiter, 5 will be MC+Locke.

Cortana is essential, once she dies Master Chief dies, it's going to happen eventualky

Hell, either way I don't give a shit. Halo is circling the drain and unless Halp 5 is a god tier game, it might as well have ended with Reach.

From what I've seen from Halo 4, it looked better.

But Halo 4 is basically Reach re-skinned with better graphics. It still had loadouts, and stuff and no bloom.

Not quite, it's similar but it's the annoying things that they changed that made it boring to play.

The DMR spam was unbearable, you literally only needed one gun to kill vehicles and players with contemptuous ease ._. Custom maps were dead because forge was utter shit, custom games were also dead because they were nerfed to hell and made so bland that it was just TDM with or without a flag ._.
There were a lot of good things and a lot of fun things but the annoying shit just dragged the game down into the dirt for me.
