especially considering the $100 I've already put into the game.
hard to believe they're so disconnected from their fanbase, considering how they used to be...

The campaign for that game is a fuck you to the people who play Halo for it and Reach is a fuck you to the fans of Halo. After Halo 2 they went to shit and it just got worse. For old Bungie.net as far as I know there was never a forum for their previous games that weren't Halo. So to me it seems like they forgot about the fans of their older games and only care about the ones of their newer games.
On top of that it turns out that the exclusive emotes were things shown off at E3 two years ago.As in they're already in the game.

QuoteSo, purchasers get a big, rich campaign. Fully voiced cinematics and the story of what happens when an angry alien god wages war on a solar system, all with a satisfying conclusion. ... We're really comfortable with the value we're giving to players this autumn.^His face right after he said that.SpoilerI can hardly believe that this used to be my favorite game developer.

I already lost a lot of respect from Bungie.... but this.... this makes it impossible to actually give them another chance let alone take them seriously as a developer. They've become as bad as LJN now.
