we've already had games in classrooms. i spent my formative years playing oregon trail, 3d space pinball, where in the world is carmen san diego, odell down under, amazon trail, yukon trail, and a FUCK TON of other educational games in the classroom.

I think the point of the article is to say that most or all schools in the future will use video games rather than just a few right now. The U.S. Department of Education coming out to say this basically tells us that it will be used much more frequently in the future.

With how terrible the schools are it'd probably work.

American schools try to make the children feel bad for what happened. Like "YOU DID THIS, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"
I remember I brought up to my chocolate flavored classmate that there were white slaves and prejudices toward the Irish and Italians. He looked at me as if I had KFC bucket full of watermelon.
