It stands out in that the game presented you with real issues with a big money democracy, and an autocratic government, both with their perms and flaws. And in the harshness of a wasteland, it made you actually sit and think about it, and talk about the outcomes long after, along with advantages and disadvantages of both. Not even bringing the other to scenarios in it.
If a games story keeps you talking long after its done, I think it's done well.

Not even bringing the other to scenarios in it.You sure we played the same game? Cause all the factions were pretty bare bones and not once did I have to actually sit and think about what I was going to do. Sure it had more variety than a game like Fallout 3, but that doesn't automatically make the story good. You need actual good writing and a good story to tell for that. None of the characters for the main story really felt like real people and most of them were really just plot vehicles. I honestly couldn't tell you the names of 90% of the characters central to it, that's how forgettable they are. Even then the plot really isn't much more than "gather support, fight at the dam, slide show about what happens due to your choices".Quote If a games story keeps you talking long after its done, I think it's done well.I guess that means that Mass Effect 3's ending is a masterpiece because that little gem is still talked about today.
It was a fetch quest.Which allowed you to pick a faction that doesnt matter in the end.'Insanely good'

It wasnt gripping enough to get me to think about the possible stuff that would happen with the faction you sided with.If there was more quests after in which you started to shape things based on your faction it would have been a lot better.Hell, it would have been better even if there were no quests after but shit changed outside of the strip.

You'll say as you sink 100+ hours into it.

I think like 85ish? Idk.The gameplay was fun, but the story was just meh. I could get enjoyment from the espionage side of things though.

What? How is it unfounded?
