Activision did not gut Destiny, the suits at Bungie did that. They got cold feet about Joe Satens idea that they have spent years on, the game was delayed twice. Activison gave them a deadline, Bungie would and could have released an awesome game if they didn't decide to change course. Sorry Bungie fanboys but the guys who made your fave xbox fps are not perfect, they fucked up on their own.

#Gamergate was really nothing to write home about, Zoe Quinns ex released personal information, assholes jumped on board and and the thing snowballed.

I think it's sad what happened to the MCC...I know it works better now, but a long time friend from childhood I have was so pumped to be able to play it again together, and then we were frustrated every time we tried to play together, and gave up. And now he doesn't have time to play near the holidays. What a shame. We played a total of five matches together, and not even on the same team.

It's not major and it's really not a 2014 thing but I want to bring up heist for GTA 5. So far it's been over a year and we still haven't got them. There's a few articles that's about RockStar saying we will get them a few days after they were posted but that never happened. Like I said this really isn't a controversy but it's wroth mentioning since it's something that was promised and so far not been fulfilled.

Gamergate. The rest were really just fuck ups from the typical publishers and companies that tend to fuck up. Gamergate involved serious ethical issues and journalistic integrity.
