So after playing for a bit, I have a few opinions on things1. I think they should increase the submachine gun's damage ever so slightly, because right now it honestly feels insanely weak. Enemies feel bullet spongey when using it. You have to be touching tips for it to seem to be really effective, but like 10 yards out it feels much weaker (that's not very far).2. The semi-auto guns on the medic class sound amazing to fire. The metallic clang is lovely3. Weather change like the sandstorm MGS V style, is really really cool. Good way to counteract snipers on that map.
Haven't played yet, but have watched my brother trampling turks and cutting down cavalry on a horse whilst shouting: "HUSSOOOOOOR!" Roleplaying as Flashman has become a reality.Other notes:-Mondragon is OP semi-auto in a world of bolt actions (despite that gun being designed for mexicans who then failed to pay up) .-Bayonet charging is an excellent retreat tactic if you need to run away fast-(F?) flag is useless. Who the fuck at DICE thought putting a flag in bumfuck sandland would diversify the 2x3 flag layout in the main area?-Horse jousting with bolt action rifles is a gentleman's sport, and hilarious to watch.-Plane combat looks fantastic, though can take an age to take down an enemy and shooting spotted infantry is virtually non existent.-Not sure about PC, but it looks amazing on PS4. Bomb craters, glistening sand, fully enterable (and mostly destructible) buildings, rock formations. Clearly Star Wars Battlefront was just a tech demo.Mondragon with sniper scope is fantastic, I mop up kills like no tomorrow with 3/4 shots per person.
Its for the best that submachine guns aren't capable of doing what a rifle can at distance. They work just fine at medium/close range.
The armored train is just too much fun. My team was down by nearly 100 points and I was conducting the train. We had a full party of people in and we nearly came back and won the match after we took all the points along the rail. I'm looking forward to other things like this on the other maps in the full game.
People need to learn to use the cannons around to deal with tanks

People saying SMGS are weak or need a bit more range baffles me, they devastate at close range for a reason, and you can hip fire the damn trench gun and hit people still.Maybe picking a different variant?I am also getting kills much further than whats being complained about with said SMGS, they feel fine and theyre not weak, the fact everyone's running with them on rush is saying as much.

Not only that, the first semi has better hip fire and range than the SMG's making them bottom feeder like in BF4.25 Damage at 5 meters drops off to 12 damage at 8 meters.That's "range" in Battlefield. And if the range wasn't so shit, I wouldn't mind the velocity.
