The game is a re-imagining of the first game. An origins story. It's not just a remaster. There's entire new stuff. It's been a LONG time since I played it though, so I can't really tell how much they will change. Looks like it should be a lot different though. The movie is based on the game. I could really care less about it, if the movie is good, cool. I might go see it. If it's bad, whatever. I just want the game lol.

That's what I'm wondering. This game looks like the first game. I recognize locations and enemies from the first game but it also seems like they added more to it.

I'm also unsure of whether the game is going to be based off the game or have its own original story. Chairman Drek is in this game and he was the main villain of the first game so more than likely the movie is going to be based off the first game.

I'm glad they're gonna put more weapons in the game than before and have the weapon upgrade system.

Between ratchet and clank and sunset overdrive insomniac has always been great at designing fun original guns

That Groovitron weapon was in the Future games and it returns in this game. I like that weapon because it even made the Snagglebeast dance.

For other weapons, I hope they keep the iconic ones like the Bomb Glove, Suck Cannon, and Agents of Doom.

The animations and camera angles, they seem very similar to SO. It's clear that they've learnt a lot from that game's development and re-applied it. Looks good.

There's a lot of... little problems with it, unfortunately. As is the case with most of these ports.
