But this is a huge relief, Battlelog is hands-down the shittiest method of social interaction within a game easily. The fact that DICE themselves have realised this is good, I truly believe they are trying to do the right thing with Battlefront. But of course...

But anyways, I'm stoked about it just for sheer nostalgia. Those games were the main ones I played on my psp.

I played BF3 and BF4 and to this day I still don't understand the point of battlelog besides it being a battlefield version of CoD: Elite.

The fact that it even needed to be said, that the game would be close enough to Battlefield that this could be a possibility, tells me all I need to know.

Battlefront 1 and 2 are a Battlefield 2 rip off. The fact that Battlefield and battefront are similar should be surprising to no one.

This was around 10 years ago. Battlefield as a franchise has developed into something fairly different in Battlefront's absence. I think it's pretty stupid to copypaste Battlefield 4, then slap on some sci-fi textures, but that's more or less what seems to be going on here.

I don't expect or want Battlefront to be exactly the same game it was a decade ago, but I'd prefer it never coming back at all to seeing it become Battlefield: Movie License Edition.
