Yeah, I think people are forgetting that the original BF2 campaign was literally instant action with narration.

I find it funny how the campaign trailer for Battlefront 2 looks better than Episode 8's. I guess me being a fan of antagonist PoV campaigns always helps, like AC Rogue.

Either way, the trailer left me looking forward to more. Hopefully the gameplay is a bit more in depth than the first.

I hope the character we play as stays loyal to the Empire thorough out the whole game, I'm afraid that towards the end she's going to have some sort of redemption type of thing by joining the Rebelling. Also I take it EA and MS had some sort of falling out type of thing due to this being a PlayStation trailer?

I don't like the idea of giving people who bought the super super special edition an advantage over those who got the regular edition. Things like that should be limited to cosmetics.

It's like people already forgot how mediocre BF1 was.

EA loves to release high budget visually striking trailers that make people go "wow", but until I see actual gameplay, I will remain skeptical about this game.

Perhaps if they would reallocate the resources and time they use to create mini Pixar films like the trailer they just released, and instead used that time, effort and money to create something unique and innovative in terms of gameplay, then we'd have something worth playing.

Idk, I felt Battlefield 1 was a pretty solid game and it looks gorgeous. Same with Battlefield 4 when it came out. Frostbite is just that pretty an engine.

You said that. I was just raising an example of a game that had both a pretty eye catching trailer with some pretty solid gameplay, since it was also under EA and this developers last game.
