Simple thread to gauge how interested in BF1 people are, the release is two months away now and the open beta is coming out on the 30th/31st so I'm curious to see how many septagooks will be playing it (particularly on the xbone).

I'll be playing the beta; I bought another 8GB of DEDICATED WAM to remove the bottleneck in my laptop based on predicted requirements.

If it's decent, and the reviews are solid, I might get it. But news from the alpha has me wary, and as much as it's a Battlefield game, it feels like they've squandered the WW1 setting.

Hopefully they have a server for straight up bolt-action combat.

I mean it is looking a bit more feasible now, but a lot of it depends on how much income I'll have over the next few months. If it trickles down to low/zero then eeee, pc might have to go on hold.

Russia and France confirmed DLC. I laugh that France, one of the main contributors of the war, is DLC but the USA isn't. I guess because Dice and the American audience who buys it.
