Props to the devs that stuck to their guns and kept the parts which they thought were integral, regardless of how it affected the rating and market revenue. It definitely seems like they really value storytelling and quality over simply raking in cash.

It's not like batman hasn't killed people before in the comics.

I know, but I'm not sure that he went around destroying Gotham and blowing people up with the Batmobile though.

To be fair though, it seems like the premise behind Arkham Knight is that Batman is dealing with an organized military force as well as the usual gangs in a Gotham that's been largely abandoned by its non-criminal inhabitants.

Not yet. And they wont want to lower it, they dont want to compromise.

I can't wait for this game. If it wasn't for MGSV, it would be my most-anticipated of 2015.

I'm looking forward to retaining my combat ranking from Arkham City.

I've never liked batman's pacifism nonsense. I get that he isn't meant to be the Punisher or someone interesting like that, but hey, you'd think after a while of seeing countless innocent people die to the same band of psychopaths that he'd stop playing nicely <.<

In the comics his pacifism is explained as an irregular psychological condition. He needs everyone around him to live.

I agree, I really only like Batman when the work he's in is geared more towards adults, where he's incapable or unwilling to save everyone.

Most of his comics, especially the recent ones, are geared for adults. The explanation for his pacifism in itself is a rather mature concept - after all, not many children's stories have a protagonist who is certifiably insane, possibly just as much as the villains he fights.

Batman is, at his core, an incredibly complex character, and his villains even more so. Punisher might be more violent, but that doesn't make him any grittier or more adult than Bats.

I was confused because the other games were already rated M here but then I remembered you guys have a different rating system >.>

Yeah. In Arkham City I'm 14th on the iceberg lounge combat map.

In Origins 100 to 1 I'm 34 with Deathstroke, 44 with Batman.
