I'm hoping to get a 3ds for the ruby/sapphire remakes as they look interesting... But mostly all of the new pokemon just look stupid, an ice cream pokemon? Really?

I just recently bought a 3DS and got Pokemon Y, and man is it sort of addicting. The newer games aren't nearly as difficult to play through as the previous gens (1 through 4, I mean), but the online trading and battling is way better than on the DS games.So I suppose if you'd like to trade or battle, post your friend code on here. I'll put mine up later when I have time.

I play ROMs of them on my phone. I haven't played pokemon on an actual Nintendo product in a while.
