You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
It's this indie side scrolling game on Steam that's actually a lot of fun.

You play as this random guy playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends, and when you take a break to go to the bathroom you are "drugged" and end up in this mysterious castle, which is where the game progresses.

A silly story, but gameplay wise it's pretty fun, I haven't played too much but going in The Mines dodging boulders is a heck of a lot of fun. Haven't gotten to any boss fights yet.

Not all indies are bad Verb. Some are pretty good.
I got the game on sale anyways.

You can't blame the man though. The indie market right now is absolutely saturated with hipster garbage.

You can't blame the man though. The indie market right now is absolutely saturated with hipster garbage.

There is still some great hidden gems.

Unepic definitely has that "messing with game tropes" feel to it, because the main character is a normal guy sent into an RPG, which is definitely a common thing. However it's still fun.
