fuck steam; steam sucks

there's been this ongoing glitch, not sure if it's this way for anyone else, but

in my friends list, where it shows you everyone who isn't currently online, it's supposed to tell you for how long that that person has been offline for

so, maybe one of my friends logs off five minutes ago--it should read, "Last Online: 5 minutes ago"
meanwhile, there's someone who hasn't logged in for a long-ass time. "Last Online: 135 days ago"

except sometimes, it does this shit:

Person A - Last Online: 1 hour ago
Person B - Last Online: 1 hour ago
Person C - Last Online: 1 hour ago
Person D - Last Online: 1 hour ago
Person E - Last Online: 1 hour ago
Person F - Last Online: 1 hour ago

you get the idea
what the fuck is with this

every time i sit through one of steam's fucking weekly-ass updates, i think to myself, "hey, maybe they fixed this shit"

and then they don't. this has been going on for months.

also, just today, i received a notification on steam--someone commented on my profile

i'm like, ooh, neat
people never comment on my profile!

so i check and it's... literally... the same comment that's been there for the last two years.

That happens to me often, it seems to happen when there's a slight connection issue on my end. Then when I connect back up it does that.

Edit: The "last online" thing.
