This one mod I was playing that went like 10 years without any updates suddenly received a bunch of new updates over the past 3 months.

Nothing lol about it, I've been playing MH3U, Bayonetta 2, and MK8 on and off throughout the day. And at least I could actually do online today at that.

Still lol, i've been playing Far Cry 4, Fifa 15 and Halo: MCC online with zero issue. Fuck, even the EA servers were doing fine

I've known that MS servers have been up, I was just glad that I could play my games online while PS4 owners, such as my brother, couldn't. Never said anything about EA servers, although the BF4 servers were being a pain the other night.

Wii U is GameCube 2.0, except without a hardware advantage. I'm perfectly fine with that as long as the games keep up the quality that they've been.

i'm still under the delusion that this thing isn't popular

like, the fact that i have one now feels even more surreal than when i got that xbox

It definitely isn't the most popular console, the PS4 takes that by a landslide. It is more popular than you'd think though. If you look at weekly sales of consoles, the Wii U usually dips [barely] above and [greatly] below the Xbone from week-to-week. Smash is definitely a system seller.
