In my opinion, he isn't completely wrong. However one thing that isn't mentioned too much is how powerful a Spartan's punch is, only at the end and it definitely isn't talked about as much as it should be.
I'm willing to say that a Spartan's punch breaks something in the neural connection AND damages the neck or spine. However the video makes it sound like a good hit from Gordon Freeman's crowbar can kill him, which is far from right.

You can sometimes overlook just how heavy the MJOLNIR armor is given the grace and agility that spartans are capable of. Combine that with the muscular enhancements, even a glancing blow must feel like being hit by a freight train.

Being punched/kicked/shoulder charged by a Spartan at full sprint has to be one of the worst ways to die.
