[Rumor] Microsoft in talks to purchase Silent Hills from Konami.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

Well, exclusivity sucks for me because I was wanting to get it on PC when it drops to $20.  Now I'll have to wait five years for that on the Xbone.

Haven't really been a fan of MS's direction with exclusives, but I guess Spencer hasn't really had enough time to turn the ship yet. Hard to say how the game itself would end up. Supposedly its mostly finished.

One less scary game to worry about accidentally seeing in the ps store I guess  :)

Only P.T. was a PS4 exclusive, Silent Hills was planned to be released on all next-gen consoles and PC.  The only previous game that was exclusive to Playstation was the first game.

Even if you like Silent Hill you should be smart enough to recognize that major market players sucking up IPs like this is a very bad thing.
Considering the alternative would be it going to mobile oblivion, or just not getting used again, it would probably be a better ending for it to get bought up. Even if that's not the best ending. Metal Gear for instance is dead from this point forward.
