This was in since Halo 4, and CE PC had a "boop" noise whenever you hit someone online. Regular guns + hitmarkers =/= problem.

Grenades + hitmarkers? Now that's a different story.

Yes, the entirety of the Halo CE-4 multiplayer suites are in exactly as they were before.

Warlock is a great map, and all, but that's pretty disappointing. It's a map that can be forged incredibly quickly, easily, and very precisely, since it's a tiny map with almost exclusively sharp-edged geometry. Granted, it'd never look as pretty, and would take a bit to get put into matchmaking (assuming 343 even plans to have community maps in matchmaking at any point).

My childhood reborn... It looks breathtaking. And I'm guessing that bridge is the map's unique interactive switch. Also any guesses about what the communication relays on top of the bases might do? Maybe they're just for show, but it seems like the blue one launched a beam upwards.

Good news, the original Halo 2 MP is in the MCC as well, so if the H2A MP doesn't fancy you, then you've still got the classic experience.

That would give me flashbacks of Isolation nightmares in Halo 3 haha. But would be great for Coag. If only we could forge that. It would be like two maps in one. My god...

It isn't like casualizing Halo 2 really takes away from the experience given how ridiculous the gunplay is in that game. Though I supposed I could say that about any post CE Halo and be proven wrong by Halo 4...
