You act like this is surprising.The guy redirected the attention, and now media will blast it everywhere.It's nothing new, the guy only did it to keep the attention off of what he did, and instead keep it on what he blames his actions for.

Does media wanna talk about how action games have been able to help people with issues in their hands?(or the rest of the body with Kinect, Wii, etc) No, they'll talk about the juiciest story to increase ratings instead of the informative ones. And like the mindless sheep people can be, they'll listen to the bias and use it as fact.
