Well, back in the late 90's/early 2000's, Yu-Gi-Oh was fairly balanced and fun.

Now it's just "LOL EFFECT MONSTER SPAM". I swear, 90% of the cards these days have fucking effects.

Not to mention the over-complicated shit that started in the mid-2000's, such as 7-paragraph-long trap cards and effects.

That's because people kept finding loopholes. The effects for those cards were super vague and you had to look up the "official" rulings for the cards (not to mention all he synchro, xyz, and pendulum nonsense that the game is saturated with now).

If we're talking Modern, everything is broken. Unless you're playing Red Aggro then there is the only time you'll see tokens in standard.

Nothing is more balanced than having Exodia which is game over. I know you have to have all five cards for him but still. A monster that is able to end the game just like that shouldn't be allowed.
