So it turns out PS4 mods have a 900mb limit and aren't allowed to use sound. Sony are being dickbags.

Bethesda and Sony haven't really had an amicable relationship in the past. Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim as well as Far Harbour have all had really bad issues on PS3/4 compared to Xbox and PC, and after Skyrim released utterly broken on PS3 there was a lot of arguing between Beth and Sony over whose fault it was. Plus, Playstation uses its own proprietary audio stuff so I'm guessing that's why Sony are not allowing sound.

So no radio/ custom gun mods that add new sounds.

Guess I'll just do as I intended and keep the PS4 version 100% vanilla and just use the PC version for any mods.

They could break you fallout 4, but you can't make mods that brick the hardware.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not, but has anyone encountered the situation when you've been given a quest by a settler, on your return trip to let them know you're done, they've completely left the settlement and started wandering round the map? Someone from Sanctuary Hills asked me to do a kidnap rescue and they walked over to the Starlight Drive in.

Yeah that happened to me, the quest giver at Croup Manor went wandering off down to the Airport and then up north to the lighthouse settlement for some reason. The game eventually loaded him back to Croup Manor after a while

My save corrupted and it crashes whenever I try to enter and interior. Well fuck.

Time to start again and try out the Railroad this time, but fuuuuuuuck I still haven't gotten far to get to Far Harbour yet. maybe in another 3 months.

Btw contraptions isn't showing up as part of the season pass on XB1
