so i bought this game with little to no prior knowledge of the amount of content there would be, and i'm pretty fucking amazed so far...practically falling in love with the ability to create and manage our own settlements

but i'm a little confused with the companions, when/where do i get a dog? because i've been stuck with codsworth since the beginning of the game and, while he's a cheeky lad, i'd rather trade him in for a cute doge

Go to sanctuary, and follow the road to concord (the place with the minutemen and the power armor)

The dog will be at a gas station on the way

I kinda jumped off a cliff in my power armor and landed on top of one of their priests.

Added a pool room to the back of the bar.

Also built a hotel next to it where all the settlers sleep.

Not overly keen on settlements. I've spent 6+ hours in it but it feels more like a chore than something which is fun.

Because screenshotting on XB1, then going on my computer to download the image from XboxDVR and reupload to imgur (the site won't display linked images) to put here is a lot slower than going on my phone camera.

Has anyone hit a build-cap for their settlements yet?
I see a size meter creeping around in the corner of the screen but it's not all that clear >_>

I keep hitting it for the Boston airport because I decided to build my own floating house.

And to make matters worse I may have dismantled some of my settlements for scrap steel.

His naivety was adorable. I picked the bad option once and felt terrible. Saved before it though.
