Won't be fun having to make up over a day of progress.Edit: turns out I had ti finish the quest before I could go. 3 hours vs. 24 isn't as bad, thinkibg about it.
FO4's map is significantly larger than FO3's, and a bit bigger than Skyrim's.
Skyrim takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes to travel from corner to corner; Fallout 4 takes about 41 minutes.
