I wish there were a faster way of deleting saves in this game, I hit the maximum ;___;
Yeah I had to break my habit of saving so much. I try and just have 5 at a time now haha

Downloading Fallout 4 right now.

I can't wait to spend the next 300 hours of my life with this game.

I'm loving the game so far. I just have a few questions:

How much stuff can I power running on one generator? Also, where's a good place to look for gears?

well the generators have the number on their crafting menu saying how many units of power they generate. But if you're talking about the other stuff that has no power number requirement, and only has a lightning bolt with no number, you can power as many of those as are in range of the generator or a connector

Ah okay, that makes sense. That's probably why the building I made is only half lit. I swear it looks like this at night time whenever I go look in there.

Am I the only one having trouble getting enough steel for my constuctions? You generally get a good amount when first looting a settlement, but after that resorting to just picking up tin cans and hammers gets a bit tedious. I wish you could scrap anything on the map you can find.

I dunno how you fuckers can make these big self made structures.
I can't deal with the lack of control you get over the snapping/placing, and the basically non existent welding/phasing

So I just end up sprucing up the existing Sanctuary houses and calling it a day haha

ugh

I hate sanctuary precisely because it has too many existing structures

I would like to see phasing added at some point, though. Having fences sticking out of the ground and floating in the air looks weird a lot of the time.

Also, I really wish we could rename settlers like in Fallout Shelter. It gets really confusing trying to assign settlers when they all have the same name.

Made some progress on Sanctuary. Going to add a large communal area at some point. Kind of like a trading centre.

I dun fucked up. Had no aluminium to repair my armor and make mods. Turns out all those surgical trays and TV dinner trays I always walk by aren't so worthless after all.

On to look for trays in the wastes.

I found a T-51B power armor set standing all alone inside of a crate. Brought it home with me and modified every part of the armor Winterized for old times sake.

I found a full suit of X-01 at the South Boston Military Checkpoint.

I wish there was an Enclave paint.

I found this pre-war quarry called Dunwich Borers full of Raiders that I needed to clear out for this nearby settlement. So I went there and went inside and I totally wasn't expecting what I was gonna find in there.

It just kept going deeper and deeper down into the earth and felt like I was gonna end up in Hell. I seriously thought at one point to turn around because it felt endless but I kept going. I thought "There better be a bobblehead or something valuable down here" and literally 3 seconds after I said that I found a bobblehead, the one for Sneak if I remember correctly.

And the thing I thought was cool was that there were these light switches that would light up an area and Feral Ghouls would wake up and go apeshit on you for waking them up.

There were also flashbacks you would see before the war, like what the Dunwich Building did in Fallout 3. There was even a shrine-thing at the very bottom of this quarry with a special dagger you can get.

What I thought was just a simple Raider camp ended up being a nightmare. Lots of shotgun shells and stimpacks were spent that day.

I wandered down there out of curiosity but thankfully I was in full on jetpack assault armour with a taser-supersledge and a bunch of my best guns >_>

Still burned through all of my stimpaks by the end.

So. Many. Withered. Ghouls. FML

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Fuck me the early game got me killed a lot. Putting that down to the new controls and getting to grips with my new console, and not knowing about the traps, but eh.

So far spent 17 hours on it, haven't even reached Diamond City what with my house restoration project underway.

I found a Raider camp where they are watching robots run around a racetrack.

I activated the self-destruct option on one of the terminals, sat back, and watched the show.

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.
It's alright, I died a ton to traps at first too

Jesus fucking Christ man. The Glowing Sea is depressing and horrifying at the same time.

It's depressing because everyone that lived in this area right before the bombs fell had literally NO chance of finding shelter at all. Everything and everyone there were completely destroyed instantly and there's hardly a trace of any infrastructure in the Glowing Sea. All of it is just... gone. This place is the literal definition of what a wasteland is. The rest of the Commonwealth looks like paradise compared to the Glowing Sea.

And the horrifying thing is all the monsters that inhabit the area. I shot a couple missiles at a Deathclaw and they barely did anything to him. After that I got swarmed by high-level Bloodbugs and almost died in the process. Then a pack of like 7 Feral Ghouls came out of their radiation pools and ran at me and luckily a well-timed grenade took most of them down. I was in my power armor had my best weapons and still I kept getting rekt.

And lastly, how the FUCK do these people at the bomb crater survive? Where do they get food? Where do they get water? Do these people have a lifetime supply of radaway and rad-x or what.
